The SQ16SA5T reaches 22.3 m and lifts 1,050 kg there, with 16,000 kg close to the column. A 16 t telescopic marine crane of the earlier SQ16S series works as a deck crane on a cargo vessel in the Maldives. It suits cargo vessels, barges and ports that need long reach over an open deck.

Corrosion protection for sea duty
The T in SQ16SA5T marks the marine version, which receives a multi-layer anti-rust treatment for salt air and spray. How long a crane lasts in a harbour still depends on routine care: rinse it with fresh water after salt-water work, grease the slewing bearing, the boom pins and the slide pads of the telescopic sections on schedule, and check hoses and fittings for corrosion.
